Happy St. Patrick’s Day, everyone!
Perhaps it is a strange coincidence, but we happen to be feeling rather lucky today. We’ve had a great week over here at Mixed Staffing. On Wednesday, 3 of our team members, Adam Everhardt, Jane Goodwin, and Kendra Achenbach accompanied our president, Sara Knoester, to the GRBJ Top Women Owned Business awards luncheon at the Frederick Meijer Gardens. Sara was nominated and made it into the top 6! Due to her dedication, passion, blood, sweat and tears, in addition to our amazing team, Mixed Staffing has been recognized quite a bit lately for their efforts in changing the lives of those in West Michigan. In early 2017, Mixed was awarded a LocalFirst LocalMotion Award. We also were recognized in 2016 by Best of MichBusiness HR Wizards and Partner Award, and we were a Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist.
We’re also lucky for so many other reasons, including the people we employ and who continue to inspire us everyday, and make all of this possible. It’s safe to say that we are especially lucky to have met so many great people over these past few years, since Mixed Staffing first opened its doors in 2012. Two gentlemen that really stand out to us are Mike Moore and Lydon Winston. We are grateful to have had the pleasure of meeting these two young men almost exactly one year ago, and they continue to blow us away with their kindness, enthusiasm, and dedication to their work.
Thanks so much, guys! We appreciate all you do, and we’re excited to continue on this journey together.
