Sara Knoester launched Mixed Staffing in 2012 at the age of 24, armed with $2,000 and a passionate drive to enact positive change in the world. Despite lacking prior experience or knowledge in the field, she embarked on this journey with faith, believing it was part of a higher mission. By 2014, Mixed Staffing underwent a significant transformation, restructuring into three distinct divisions: Professional Staffing and Recruiting, Inclusive Workforce Staffing, and Diversity Staffing and Recruiting.
Beginning in a modest 4×4 foot cubicle, Mixed Staffing has since thrived and is now poised to purchase its first building, marking a pivotal moment in its expansion plans across Michigan.
