Sara Knoester started Mixed Staffing in 2012, at 24 years old college with $2,000 and a desire to make change in the world took a leap of faith and started Mixed Staffing with no experience, knowledge or idea what she was doing. She just knew God had a mission. In 2014 Mixed redesigned and formed 3 divisions: Professional Staffing and Recruiting, Inclusive Workforce Staffing and Diversity Staffing and Recruiting.We started in a 4×4 foot cubical and now we are looking to purchase our first building and expand throughout Michigan.

How we got here:
The idea for Mixed Staffing came to Sara Sherry-Knoester and her former business partner in 2011. After graduation, the two were job searching and witnessed first-hand the discrimination toward women and minorities. This experience led them to launch Mixed Staffing with the hopes of personalizing the job market and educating employers on the importance of a diverse workforce. Mixed Staffing officially opened on June 1st 2012. .
